Founded in 1997 by Lord Pearson of Rannoch, Lord Stoddart of Swindon and Lord Harris of High Cross under the directorship of Ian Milne, Global Britain has always made the case for a prosperous Britain outside of the EU. Its main focus has been on ensuring parliamentarians were well briefed on relevant issues, with its eurofacts newsletter providing a wealth of useful material before the internet became the main medium for sharing such information.
