Why should I switch Energy Supplier?

In a nutshell: because the government in its infinite wisdom has privatised the energy sector. Unfortunately, it's a natural monopoly, so this isn't working at all well. In order to force competition between the various energy companies, you have to choose the one with the tariff that works best for you. Otherwise, the supplier will just take the piss and rack up your charges as high as they can get away with.

Aren't All Energy Suppliers The Same?

Yes... and No.
