Politics in the United Kingdom
Separation of Powers

The Courts (Judiciary)

Parliament (Legislature)
- The United Kingdom Parliament is the highest legislative body of the United Kingdom and British overseas territories. It alone has legislative supremacy and thus ultimate power over all other political bodies.

The Leader of the winning party bcomes the Prime Minister, who then chooses the members of the Cabinet. Together, the Cabinet members decide the Government's policies.
