The Mitsubishi Group, also known as the Mitsubishi Keiretsu, is a group of ~40 autonomous Japanese multinational companies in various industries. Each of the companies holds substantial shares in the others. Although the group companies participate in limited business cooperation, most famously through monthly "Friday Conference" executive meetings, they are formally independent and not under common control.
