The five associations (ARLA, NAEA, NAVA, ICBA and APIP) were dedicated to promoting the highest industry standards for over 50 years. ARLA

The Association of Residential Letting Agents is a professional and regulatory body for people working in residential property lettings and management. ARLA was formed in 1981[1] and grew particularly as the private rented sector grew over the past 10 years. NAEA

NAEA was the National Association of Estate Agents, National Association of Estate AgentsWikipedia-W.svg. NAEA Propertymark protects and guides consumers, helping people to buy and sell their treasured homes. We work to raise professional standards among estate agents from single branch independents to large national groups, promoting education and qualifications within the sector. It is based in and covers the UK. It was founded in 1962 by estate agent Raymond Andrews.[1] It is the UK's leading professional body for estate agents.[2] Its members practice across all aspects of property both in the UK and overseas, including residential and commercial sales and letting, property management, business transfer, auctioneering and land.[1]

NAVA

The National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers (NAVA) evolved into NAVA Propertymark in Feb.2017, working with sister organisations NAEA Propertymark, NAEA Commercial and Propertymark Qualifications to improve the choices available to consumers. By holding our members accountable and by empowering consumers with knowledge and advice, we protect them and their money. Those using auctioneers and valuers who display the Propertymark Protected logo have the peace of mind that they enjoy Client Money Protection, Professional Indemnity insurance and membership of an independent redress scheme. Members are also subject to Propertymark's Conduct and Membership Rules and disciplinary procedures with sanctions for those who fall below the expected standards. http://www.nava.org.uk/about/

APIP

Propertymark Qualifications

In Feb.2017, the NFoPP Awarding Body (NFoPP) rebranded to Propertymark Qualifications. Propertymark Qualifications is regulated by OfQual, the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator, Qualifications Wales and the Council for Curriculum, Assessment and Examinations (CCEA Regulation). We offer credit and level rated qualifications in the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF). This means that you can be sure that we adhere to strict guidelines and quality standards in the provision of all our qualifications. Operating as a recognised and regulated awarding body since Mar.2002 (as NFoPP Awarding Body) our first qualifications were awarded in 2003. We work closely with professional bodies allowing us to draw on their experience to ensure that our qualifications keep pace with changes in the industry at large and enabling them to be recognised as evidence for membership of the relevant professional bodies. http://www.propertymarkqualifications.co.uk/about-us/

During 2017, Propertymark Qualifications transferred all its qualifications from the Qualifications and Curriculum Framework (QCF) to the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). ref

Arbon Trust

Arbon Trust is the charitable arm of Propertymark with the aim of helping members, their families and Propertymark staff.
