Keep Britain Tidy

Keep Britain Tidy is an independent environmental charity, which campaigns to reduce litter, improve local places and prevent waste.
Littering is a huge problem but, with no investment in their surroundings and no sense of shared responsibility towards the countryside, it is arguably inevitable that people treat land carelessly. Added to which is govt failure to invest in public messaging about proper countryside behaviour; ~£2,000 a year was spent in the last decade promoting the Countryside Code, as opposed to £46m on the “Get ready for Brexit” campaign.[1]
