Rosneft is a Russian integrated energy company headquartered in Moscow, and controlled by the Russian govt via the Rosneftegaz holding company. It specialises in exploration, extraction, production, refinement, transport, and sale of petroleum, natural gas, and petroleum products. The company operates in 20+ countries around the world, and is the 3rd largest company in Russia, and the 2nd largest state-controlled company after Gazprom in terms of revenue.

Rosneft was founded in 1993 as a state enterprise and later incorporated in 1995, acquiring a number of state-controlled gas and oil assets. Rosneft became Russia's leading oil company after purchasing assets of former oil company Yukos at state-run auctions. After acquiring OJSC TNK-BP from BP in 2013, Rosneft became the world's largest publicly-traded petroleum company.

UK Operations

Rosneft Marine (UK) Ltd

Rosneft Marine began its operations in 2010 in order to serve as an international marine fuel trading arm located in London, its headquarters, with a Representative Office in Beijing. Through its sister company RN Bunker, Rosneft Marine physically supplies marine fuel in all main Russian bunkering regions and facilitates supply internationally. The Company employs 12 employees, with 10 based in London and 2 based in Beijing.

From its trading offices in London and Beijing, Rosneft Marine operates in all main commercial ports of Russia. Its sister company RN Bunker, through its network of regional representative offices, provides operational control of logistics and timely delivery of fuel. The company also operates a modern tanker fleet, which is constantly increasing in size. The main operation areas are centered around Rosneft’s loading terminals in ports of Nakhodka, Arkhangelsk and Tuapse.ref
