Stonehaven is a marketing and reputation consultancy set up in 2014 by Peter Lyburn, a former political strategist. The firm builds data-driven campaigns that change corporate reputation, customer behaviours and internal culture. The fast-growing agency recently announced a number of new hires which has taken its total headcount to over 20 consultants.

Stonehaven's London office, which has tripled in size over the last year, now totals more than 20 consultants. Stonehaven was set up in 2014 by Peter Lyburn, formerly a senior strategist at Lynton Crosby’s CTF Partners firm. Top hires for the firm include Caroline Preston, former head of broadcasting for David Cameron at Number 10, and Ben Thornton, who was previously a partner at Portland. ref

She was named in PR Week’s 30 under 30 in 2016 and won bronze in the 2015 Cannes Young Lions UK competition for creativity. Jenny joins Stonehaven as an Associate Director.
    • DAVID GODFREY joins from Teneo Blue Rubicon as an Associate Director. With a decade of campaigning experience, David has worked with brands including RBS, Ford, Coca-Cola, Aviva and The Premier League. Between 2013 and 2015, David worked in Qatar leading a global team managing communications for the Organising Committee of the 2022 World Cup.
    • NICK VARLEY is an experienced campaigner for corporate clients and has worked on multiple elections. Formerly Head of Ground Campaigns for Vote Leave, where he led a team of over 45 staff operating across the country, Nick has also worked internationally, including in the Caribbean and Africa. Nick joins Stonehaven as an Associate Director.
    • CHARLES OGILVIE joins as a Senior Policy Adviser with over a decade of experience working in policy, regulation and change management. He specialises in the utility, infrastructure and technology sectors and has worked with international businesses including GE, Serco, Vattenfall, Babcock, Clarksons, Johnson Matthey and Inmarsat.
    • ADAM McNICHOLAS joins Stonehaven as an Account Director with vast experience in political campaign messaging and communications. He is a former political adviser to former shadow secretaries of state in the Labour Party and has worked extensively in audience-targeted digital communications.
    • TOM HARVESON is formerly of Teneo Blue Rubicon and joins Stonehaven as an Account Director. With nearly a decade’s experience across a range of sectors, Tom has worked with global brands such as Facebook, Instagram and Unilever to develop targeted messaging and execute large-scale integrated campaigns.
    • RHIANNON PADLEY joins Stonehaven as an Account Manager. She brings a keen understanding of the political world having spent a number of years working in Westminster. She has provided support on campaigns including securing the UK Steel Industry in a time of crisis, planning legislation and building links between decision makers and businesses. She has delivered on a number of successful campaigns, including the re-election of Priti Patel MP in 2015 and as part of the ‘Leave’ campaign during the EU Referendum.
