South West Water Ltd

South West Water provides drinking water and waste water services throughout Cornwall and Devon, and in small areas of Dorset and Somerset. The main source of water is from 20 reservoirs they own (oddly, South West Water is shy about disclosing a list).[3] South West Water is responsible for the supply of the region's drinking water, the treatment and disposal of sewage, and the protection of inland and bathing waters.

South West Water has been merrily flogging off "spare" sites, pumping stations, moorland plots and land, stating its aim in auctioning "redundant assets" was to cut costs and bills, and that proceeds would go back to customers through lower bills.[4] However, an analysis in 2017 found that South West Water customers had the highest combined water bills in the UK.[5]

Sewerage and wastewater services in the area are provided by Wessex Water and Southern Water.
